I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. Mine was really good.  Too short as usual.  But, we attended the beautiful wedding of one of my besties and her new hubby Jon.  It was a great night! Love, yummy food, and great friends.  Oh! and we got our new couch! So all in all it was a pretty great weekend.

September Ipsy bag

I promised when I got my Ipsy bag I would show it off and review it for everyone so you can see all about this subscription.  I finally received it this past weekend, and I love this month's bag!!!

Every month there is a theme for the bag.  This month was Like A Boss.  One reason I love Ipsy is because they are very "girl power."  They will usually feature a product from women "bosses" and this month is all about it.  This glam bag is about being the strongest, most fearless version of you.  I love the edgy, sleek look of the bag.  I use the actual bags for everything.  Currently I have one from last month in my purse, I am going to put this one in my bookbag and then I use them all the time for travel and taking makeup different places.  They are a perfect size!

Manefit Beauty Planner Masks

The Ipsy bag usually has about 5 or 6 items in it each month.  The first one this month was the Manefit Beauty Planner Masks.  One is a whitening + brightening mask and the other is a pore care mask.  Who doesn't love a sheet mask?  I definitely do.  I try to do one once every week or couple weeks and I can't wait to try these out.  Sheet masks are one of my favorite items to get in the Ipsy bag because when I go to a store I see them but would never buy them for myself and if I do I have a hard time deciding which one.  So I get very excited when I receive masks.  

Elizabeth Mott Pop Goes the Shadow in Toasted

I am a little obsessed with eye makeup.  I love to get new eye products because I am always switching it up.  This month included an eye shadow, Elizabeth Mott Pop Goes the Shadow in the color toasted, and it is beautiful. The app describes it as a velvet shadow that doesn't streak or crease. I love the color! It will make a very pretty smokey eye.

Pixie by Petra Beauty Blush Duo in Peach Honey

This blush is beautiful!! It is Pixie by Petra Beauty Blush Duo in Peach Honey and it is great!  Peach shades are gorgeous and this duo is so universal because you can use them separately or mix them together for a different look.  It also says it can be used as a highlighter.  I can't wait to try this!

Luxe Beauty Rose Gold Angled Eye Brush

Anytime I get a brush I am happy.  And this one is awesome.  It is the Luxe Beauty Rose Gold Angled Eye Brush.  Being angled helps with blending and you can also use it for all your favorite powder and cream shadows.  The rose gold color is beautiful! It will look great on my makeup table.

ColourPop Lippie Stix 

This is the brand/type of lipstick I posted about in my favorite lipsticks post!!  It is ColourPop Lippie Stix.  The color is glam bag because it was made especially for Ipsy.  I love the color! and I have told you before, but it goes on very smooth and even though it is matte my lips feel hydrated all day.  It lasts pretty long too!  I definitely recommend this lipstick!

I think this month's bag was fabulous with all my favorite items!!!  Oh! by the way another thing I love about Ipsy is the app.  I mentioned it earlier in the post but the app tells you all about the month's theme, gives you previews to your bag, details on each product and allows you to order the items if you like them.  It is very handy.
