Ipsy, Birchbox and Citrus Lane subscriptions

Hope everyone is having a fantastic week!  I had over 200 blog views yesterday, so I am having a great week!  I told you all in my first blog that I love writing and hopefully some day I can make this into more than just a hobby.  So, I greatly appreciate the views and hope you all keep coming back!

Today, I want to talk subscriptions.  I am sure you have all heard of them or are even signed up for a few.  I LOVE them.  How great is it to get a delivery once a month full of goodies catered towards your interests?!? It's like having your birthday every month.

I have had a couple of subscriptions over the years.  Currently I get an Ipsy bag every month.  I love it.  Ipsy is a makeup bag, where you take a short quiz on your makeup views and then each month you get 5 samples of different cosmetics from different companies based on your quiz.  What I like is each month you can review the bag and rate the products.  That way, if you never use the nail polish because you get your nails professionally done, you can rate it low and shouldn't receive it anymore.  I believe Birchbox is similar.  I know its a beauty box with samples each month.  I am debating on switching over to that box soon to give it a try and see the differences.  My Ipsy bag is due at my house any day.  Maybe I will do a post about it once I receive it so you all can see what it includes.

I have also done the Citrus Lane box before.  You can see lots of reviews on that in my old old blog posts. I loved it for when Jackson was little.  They cater the box to your child's age group.  The box includes some full size items, things to help you take care of your kids, usually a toy they would like at their age.  I loved it because as a new mom it really introduced me to some awesome products and brands.

I really want to try the Fab Fit Fun box.  It's quarterly, season themed, and comes with full size products. I saw the fall one and it had a scarf, gym bag, teeth whitener, among other things.  The season theme I think is something I would really love.  As well as it not being focused on just one type of product.  I also want to try Scentbird.  Scentbird is a perfume subscription.  Monthly they send you a perfume that will last a month and the scent is based on a test you take.  I love perfume and trying new ones so I think this subscription would be so much fun.

I have seen clothing subscriptions, ones catered for healthy eating, workout subscriptions, pregnancy subscriptions that are based off how far a long you are, pet subscriptions, etc.  There are a lot out there!  Let me know if you have any subscriptions and what you think of them.  I am always looking to try something new!
