2014!

Hello all!

Miss me?  I have missed blogging.  Its amazing how fast three months went.  So much has happened so I plan on doing a quick catch up over the next couple days.  It will be quick but I also don't want to leave anything out!

First let me get the September Citrus Lane Box review out of the way! Since I promised.  All this week I will do a review until I catch up.  Shame on me.  The boxes are just piling up on my desk.

Citrus Lane September box:

Charley Harper 123s from AMMO Books

Jackson loves books and this one is so cool! Besides teaching numbers, each page is like a piece of artwork.  The pages are beautiful!  Jackson loves the colors.

Hug and Hide Stroller Toy from Skip Hop

This stroller toy is so neat.  It has different textures and colors, teethers and attachments to keep a baby's attention.  It is a staple in Jackson's diaper bag and he is always grabbing for it.  We love Skip Hop!

Playful Wash from Episencial

We haven't tried this wash yet but the description makes it sound like a great product.  It says it's an ultra gentle wash for the entire family.  It has all natural cleansing properties and is safe for the eyes.  It's concentrated too, so a little goes a long way!

Diaper Rash Ointment from Dr. Smith's

This is perfect for the diaper bag.  It goes on like a cream but protects like an ointment.  It doesn't have any harsh smell and works fast in getting rid of red bottoms.

Special Treat for Mom
Nail Color from Julep

I am obsessed with nail polish and this one is definitely at the top of the list.  First, I love the dark color I received.  It's also fast drying and chip resistant.  Everything I look for in a perfect polish.

FINALLY! I can put September's box away.

Also during September/October I got a promotion to an Agent Care Lead Rep.  I was off the phones and responsible for escalations and helping people with questions.  I was a lead rep for 2 days, when my supervisor quit and they asked me to step up as the interim supervisor.  It was an amazing opportunity and completely changed my career path at CNO. More on that to come!

Here are the photos for Jackson's 7 and 8 month updates.

As you can see by 8 months Jackson could sit up alone and had 2 front teeth.  He is such a talker and LOVES anything that makes noise.  He's a giggly, happy baby most of the time!

Let me get to the middle of October before I stop for tonight.  As many of you know, my tradition for October is to make October the month of fun.  We've had a lot of death and diagnosis in our family in the month of October over the years, but it is still my favorite month because of fall time so every year I pack it full of events and fun to take everyone's minds off the negative.  Especially this year since it was the first time without my grandma.  All of this started again for her the October 2012 actually.

Anyways, this October we went to the Children's Museum, a pumpkin patch and ZooBoo.

Jackson in the PlayScape at the Children's Museum.

The cousins at the pumpkin patch.

Landon and DJ at the zoo.  I think Jackson was sleeping during this pic.

Jackson and I at ZooBoo.

We had lots of fun.  And even though we usually do those activities, even before we had Jackson, they were so much more fun with Jackson!

Tomorrow I will finish up October and dive into November.  Also, October Citrus Lane Box review.

Hope everyone is staying warm!
