I'm getting back in the flow!

Hello everybody!!!! I know I know it has been literally 5 months since my last post. So I have a lot of catching up to do!!! I thought after the wedding things wouldn't be as crazy. I was wrong. I last posted before the wedding. Let me tell you all about the wedding. It was the best day of my life. I had a little breakdown in the morning because I wouldn't be living with my mom, Dave and sister anymore. I was so excited about my apartment and living with Andy but it was definitely going to be a huge change. After my friends made fun of me we packed everything up and went to the venue. Setup was crazy but we had a lot of help. Getting ready was so much fun. I loved every second of the whole day. I was never really nervous just happy! Andy and I decided to meet up before the ceremony so that we could get some pictures taken before hand. He looked so good in his tux :) Once we were done with pictures I got to sit up at the top of the tower and watch my family and friends arrive for the big day. The ceremony was beautiful. It went by so fast. It didn't seem like any time between walking down the aisle, and me becoming Mrs. Huth. After the wedding we took pictures during the cocktail hour. The signature drink was a hit! Then it was time to move inside for the reception. We had such a great party. Andy and I both danced the night away!!! Our surprise wedding dance was a huge success. Everyone loved it and it is now up on Youtube. We had so much fun doing it. Andy and I also did the dollar dance where we made lots of cash for our Honeymoon. Everything was perfect. Yes there were a couple hiccups or things that didn't go exactly as planned but honestly it was so amazing, I don't even remember the little things like that. I am so lucky I had the love support and help of my family and friends to help make this the best day of my life. I am also so lucky to have my wonderful husband. Our life officially started that day and has been great ever since.
Our honeymoon was so much fun! We went to the Dominican Republic (thanks to my parents!) and we had a blast!!!! It was so beautiful and so exciting to be in a different country. Our hotel was nice and all inclusive. Andy loved being able to eat whenever and whatever. We mostly relaxed after crazy wedding planning but one day we went to Ocean World and it was such an amazing experience. We got to be right up with sea lions and seals and got to swim with dolphins. Something I have always wanted to do! And something off my 1001 in 1001 days! It was amazing. I have always wanted to swim with dolphins and never thought animals would scare me. especially ones I love, but it was very nerve racking right when I got into the water with them. They were huge!!! But once I got used to them it was such an amazing experience. We were so lucky to get to do something like that. We did end up getting sick from the water. We were told 100 times not to drink the water I drank some that the hotel staff said was filtered and got sick. But it was just like our last two days there so it wasn't a big deal! We just got some rest. We had such a great time and are so lucky to have gotten to go to such a fabulous place!
Hmmm let's see since the wedding....work has been crazy. Working at school there is never a dull moment and they are changing a lot this year so we have tons to do. I love the kids. They are all really neat. I also work with some very cool people. Everyone there is very talented and good at what they do and we all share such a passion for the kids. Speaking of my school, recently we had a student who was shot and killed. It was so sad. No matter what trouble he might have been into, no 19 year old deserves to die, especially that way. And no mother should have to bury her son. We had a memorial at school for him since he and his family were such a big part of our school. It was refreshing to see how strong his mom was. Please pray for her and the family. Even though she is strong it is still hard. OMG the biggest news since the wedding, which I am positive everyone knows about but I haven't formally written about is MADDEN!!! He is our new puppy. We got him right after we got home from the honeymoon. We couldn't wait! He is a black yorkie poo. He is so full of spunk and loves to drive his sister crazy. I love him to death and we definitely have our hands full now with two puppies! He is doing good and we are getting back to normal now that he's mostly potty trained :) He does have his big boy surgery in November. I know it tends to calm down dogs so I just hope he doesn't loose his personality.
Over Labor day weekend my whole family and our dates went to Kings Island. It was so much fun! Andy and I did the bungy jumping thing. It was a blast. I couldn't believe what a rush it was. It was great to spend time with my fam. DJ is dong great. I can't wait to see what he will be for Halloween. OH also Justin and Elizabeth had their baby Katie. She is a doll. I love her!
Everyone knows I love October so I have been trying to do all kinds of fun things. We went to Halloween zoo boo. Also got pumpkins we are going to carve. We also took Madden and Marilyn to get their pictures taken at Petsmart in their Halloween costumes. Madden was a football player and Marilyn his cheerleader. They were so cute. I am hoping we are able to go to a haunted house tonight and tomorrow we want to have a Halloween dinner for our first time of trick or treating at our apartment.
This weekend, Friday, we went to dinner to celebrate Shelby graduating. I was so happy for her. When she started at the Excel Center I never knew she would get done so fast! They said she is their success story. Brittany was on the IU homecoming court! I am so proud of her. She just amazes me all the time with how fabulous she is. We went to the game yesterday to see her announced. She was beautiful.
Well I think that is my big catch up. I will start updating more frequently. Since wedding planning is done I might be more random with my thoughts than just an update but I will update! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!
