10 DAYS UNTIL THE WEDDING!!! That means next weekend is the last weekend before wedding week! AH! Where did time go?!?! I am very excited, and can't wait to officially be in my new apartment. But, I am also a little nervous and stressed. 10 days doesn't seem like there is enough time to do anything!!! especially with all these meetings. School is busy because my seniors graduate June 4th as well, I have big wedding to-do lists, apartment stuff to do, and just a lot to get together and situated before the big day. Not to mention normal wedding events like the bachelorette party and showers. I am not going to complain though. I feel like it is good stress and I wan to take every moment of this experience in. Just busy!
Speaking of Indy Met, absolutely in LOVE with this place. The school theory, the staff, the students; I love being a part of this atmosphere. I am so thankful to have this job. I think I found a good fit in the Indy Met family.
Ok so since I last updated let's see. I had a fabulous turnout at the Greenfield shower. Lots of great people, food, and gifts :) It was a blast. Andy and I got the keys to our apartment!!! We painted that weekend. We did three different accent walls and they turned out great!!! We also got all of Andy's stuff in there as well as most of my stuff that was packed up. So now I just need to get my stuff over there. I know I can always come back and get what I need but once I am married I want the apartment to be like official. I don't want to have to still go back and forth, I just want everything in one place.
Last week wedding stuff was kind of put on hold. I am sure most of you heard my nephew DJ was in the hospital, and still is. So I spent a lot of time there visiting with him. Good news is he is doing better and gets to come home tomorrow! I am so excited!! I will say though I love Riley Hospital, always have since my surgery, but just add this to the list of why they are so great and the best place to be. They took wonderful care of DJ :)
This past weekend was the bachelor/bachelorette parties! My group went to Louisville to 4th Street. It was Me, Brittany, Jessica, Cassie, Jessie, Krystan, Kandy, Amanda Ault, Sarah, Ashley, Amanda Rogers, Robin, Kim and my mom. A great group. We had a BLAST!! It was such a great time. I am so lucky to have so many wonderful friends. I will always remember how fun that weekend was. Hangover, girl style :) Andy's group went downtown and from what I hear it was pretty fun as well!
This week we are just finishing up wedding stuff and getting my things moved. Lots of last minute things to finish up all around. I cant believe 14 months ago Andy asked me to marry him. This has been the most wonderful trip of my life. I am kind of sad for it to end but so excited to marry and live with my best friend. I couldnt have done all this without my terrific friends and family. They have made this such a memorable time. This weekend I am taking the bridesmaids to Mallow Run to kick off wedding week. Then the week will begin!!! I will add pictures tonight and I promise to update again before the wedding!
