Hello everyone!!! Hope everyone is having a good week and enjoying the little sunshine we are having. I titled this blog royal wedding because today is that big wedding in England, that when it's over it makes way for the TRUE royal wedding....Andy and I's!!!!!!!!! Hahahahaha. Ok but seriously I do love all the royal wedding talk and footage. I am such a romantic when it comes to weddings and I am pretty sure I have already cried three times today over different footage I have seen from the royal wedding. It is such an exciting event with all the people, tradition, and of course British accents. My fav. I was so excited to see Kate's dress. And don't get me wrong she was beautiful, but her dress wasn't what I expected. It is pretty though and a great designer, Alexander McQueen. I LOVED the hats. I want to start wearing hats all the time. Do you think it would pick up here in Indiana? lol. The royal wedding just gets me so excited for my wedding. My mom said, "gets you/ I would hope you already are." And I am! Andy and I have been so excited about everything, especially as it gets closer, but watching the royal wedding just made me so excited for the once in a life time experience. I want to remember and cherish every second of that day and I can't wait to get all dolled up.
Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend. Mine was very calm and fun! We went to my Bricker grandparents and ate lots. Saturday we had game night at Andy's clubhouse. I love going o that because they teach me a new game every time. It is a blast! And DJ hung out with me a lot there so it was a great night.
This week, Dave is out of town so my mom and I have been making a lot of dinners we love, mostly microwavable ones. lol it has been a lot of fun! Tuesday I met with Cassie's dad Allen, our officiant. It was so great! We went through the wedding setup and talked a lot about marriage. He is so enthusiastic and laid back at the same time, funny and smart. And of course very strong in his religion and it just made both Andy and I so excited about the wedding. Thinking about it more from God's view put a lot into prospective and made us so happy about everything. We will meet with him a couple times for some pre marriage counseling. This weekend my sister found some shoes that look great with the bridesmaid dresses so we bought them and have been having the girls try them on and pick them up this week. Only one size didn't work so once we get that fixed that will be something to check off the wedding list!
This weekend is busy again. Pretty much from this weekend on everything is wedding!!! Or Brooke as my friends and family say :) Tonight, I need to get a spray tan and my nail fixed. Tomorrow I have a bridal shower in Greenfield being put on by Robin and my aunt Marla. I am so excited!! Then I am driving some students to prom. Sunday is Casper's birthday! We don't really know when he was born so we count his adoption day as his birthday. And of course a lot of wedding stuff to do whenever there is a free second.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!!!!
