I know it has been forever since I have updated! I am soooo sorry! I have been busy (always an excuse right?) But I decided to take advantage of my second snow day ( I didn't know snow days were still possible when you worked in the real world) and catch up. ALOT has happened since my last blog. Nothing huge just a lot of little things. Let's see....We started our marriage classes. They are very interesting. We have workbooks and watch a lesson and then participate in discussion. I am happy to say on the first quiz Andy and I matched up in every area but one and once we talked about it we agreed on an answer. A couple of weeks ago I finally got my new glasses and contacts. Changed my life. I know I am dramatic but for real. When I went to the doctor I had broken my last contact two weeks before and then found out my current glasses were the wrong prescription. I had to wait about a month and 100 headaches before receiving all my new stuff, but now everything is great! My best friend Jessica's bday was the 16th and we went out the Saturday before. It was so much fun! We turned twenty four this year and I just am so thankful we are still best friends. I have mostly been busy with our two classes and wedding planning stuff. I ordered our unity ceremony stuff. It is so neat. It is a picture frame vase for sand. I love it. Last week when my parents went to visit Brittany at school they brought me home an apartment present for Andy and I. It is one of those metal dress sculptures that is a coat rack. I love it. This past weekend was my cousin Katelyn's birthday party. She was so stinkin cute. She turned 3 and was so sweet about her presents. Lauren and Allie were adorable as usual. Allie asked for my email. Apparently she has an email address now and is so cute sending me messages. Lauren right when we walked in, said she saw my magnet (save the date) and loved it and she goes " I am the flower girl" In case I could forget. Which we happened to bring the flower girl dress for her to try on. It looked so cute on her! I have been able to set up a few wedding appointments. I have them set up with the harpist, a headpiece designer, and the officiant. I am so excited. I have gotten most of the save the dates out. Just about 5 left to send. This week we had two snow days from work. My goal was to get caught up on things. I did a couple of things but of course I just lounged. Which I guess I needed. So far for my 101 in 1001 project I have set up a couple of things. My friend works for Stampin Up so I ordered the Digital Scrapbook and picked it up. Now I just need to work on scanning my pictures and uploading them. I also ordered some Stampin Up stuff for my apartment. I have also started reading my Bible and devotionals. I have this thing from our church that shows you what to read each day to get the whole Bible done in a year. I also bought knitting supplies and have starting learning how to knit. I bought a book but it is so hard to go from a book so I might just need to have my gma's sister Donna teach me. Andy and I reached our first $1000 dollars in our emergency fund! YAAAY! And have paid off some debt. The class is amazing. I bought the hard drive for my organizing project. There is a lot of organizing going on around here. I have updated the list for the 101 in 1001 and I will not change it anymore. It is set now. And I am excited to work on everything. For the wedding, Andy needs to get his passport this weekend. I also want to work on getting favors ordered and these presents for the bridesmaids. Andy and I need to look at tuxes and I need to go with the rest of the girls to get their dresses. Most important, designing the headpiece. I can't wait. This week I need to get organized and stuff done and then the big Superbowl party this weekend! What should I make for the party? I promise to update again by the end of the week. Got to go to bed, since I actually have to work tomorrow. Stay warm!
