It's July!!!

It's already July! and it is HOT!!!! 11 months until my wedding! Man it is flying by and I am keeping busy. Britt had a great bday week! We kicked it off Sunday by having dinner at my gmas, her favorite chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes, and Andy and I made her a funfetti cake. Then Monday Andy, Jess and I took her to crazy street for her first bar experience. Tuesday my parents came home and we picked up her martini cake that was WONDERFUL! and went to Logan's for dinner. The cake was done by Cakes by Cathy Inc. She was recommended by my wedding consultant. She makes her cakes with white chocolate fondant! and she is wonderful with detail and decorations. I have a wedding cake consultation with her this week! After Logan's my mom, sister, me and my friend Alyssa went to see Eclipse. It was AMAZING! I loved every second of it and I can't wait to see it 10 more times at least :) Did I mention I started spinning two weeks ago? When the classes changed at the community center Jessica and I signed up again but this time for aerobics and spinning. I was so nervous because I have heard how hard spinning is. But I LOVED IT!!! it is a workout but it makes you feel so good. I am glad we joined. Friday we went to broadripple for Britt's birthday and had a blast! we met alot of people out and it was such a good time. It was also Andy's first time out in Broadripple and he really enjoyed himself! Saturday we had our big 4th of July party (on the 3rd lol)We had a great turn out and it was soooo much fun!!! I love when everyone is together in one place. It was perfect weather for it! Sunday I went to Andy's family's' cookout at his grandmas house and it was scorching hot. I thought I was cooking! Then I went to Edinburgh mall with my mom and got some new things including silly bands lol. I cant help it I am a little kid, I really wanted the ones that said things like I love you and peace and so my mom got them for me :) Monday my day off, I went to my mom's to swim with my cousins. It was a blast and the girls loved my puppy Marilyn. They were so cute carrying her around like a baby. lol Although it felt like forever since I had been to work but I still wanted a little longer of a break. lol oh well might need to take a day off soon just to relax. I have made some wedding progress and plan on getting a lot done this week. I have 4 cake consultations this month. We are super excited about them!! There are so many amazing cake flavors I dont know how I will ever choose. So tonight I am gathering pictures and ideas of how I want my cake to look. I also talked to my church and got Charlie Cash as my wedding officiant. I got to thinking that it would be neat to have him since he baptized me. He will be a part of two major events in my life and I am so excited. I have also talked to our caterer and am setting up a meeting to discuss menus with her. I also am starting to look into music and the first thing I am doing is making an appointment with a harpist, her husband works with me, who I think would be great for the ceremony music. I plan on having the reception ideas and decorations designed by the end of this week so we can get started on those things. And most importantly I would like to get the bridesmaids fitted and ordered so that I can get a swatch of fabric to show to my florist and for decorations. So lots is going on but since this week isn't quite as hectic I plan on being very productive. Hope everyone had a great 4th weekend!
