WOW a lot has happened!

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated! ALOT has happened and I had to make alot of different decisions recently. I am really starting to get into my busy time. Less than a year until the wedding! oh AND 8 days until Britt's birthday! she is getting so excited. We have big plans. Monday at midnight, when she officially turns 21, we are taking her out to a local bar/grill place just so she can go out right when she turns 21. Then, on her birthday we are going to cheeseburger for dinner and some yummy drinks. That night at midnight Eclipse comes out! I can't wait! You better believe I will be there for the first showing with one of my friends from school, Alyssa. Then, Friday the week of her birthday we are getting a big group together and going to Broad ripple. I had to go help Britt pick out an outfit for the event. She will look so hott. Saturday is our family's big fourth of July party. It is going to be a busy time and Britt has no idea what we have in store for her :) Let's see what have I been up to lately...I decided to postpone Filene's for awhile. Mainly because I want to get some dress ideas and get fitted before I go running through random dresses. I want to have the idea of my perfect dress and settle for nothing less. My family set the wedding budget so I know officially what I am working worth. That makes me feel a lot better, having that to work with. I got some good news, my event center has rented outdoor chairs, so I don't have to get theme from outside the place. Which is really nice then I don't have to set up or worry about getting them back to where they belong. I also talked to the event coordinator about linens and things and found out she is really like a wedding planner and can help me with so much. I was very grateful to hear that. I also went to look with a couple of the girls at bridesmaid dresses. I found a lot of beautiful ones, but decided there too I needed to get an idea of what I wanted. So today my mom, sister, and I went to look at the posey patch bridal superstore I had heard so much about. And I found the dress. I LOVE IT! Now I just need to have a fitting for the girls and show them how amazing they are :) The dress is the picture for this blog, the short one. I love all the detail, the short, modern, fun style and the flower :) and color. I am in love with the dress and think the girls will look GORGEOUS! This past weekend, Andy and I went to dinner with his dad and his dad's girlfriend , Beverly. We discussed wedding details and they brought me some presents. They brought me beads for a shower, and a beautiful necklace that is two miniature wedding rings. I almost started tearing up. After lunch, Beverly asked if i wanted to go to Michael's and other craft stores to get wedding ideas. Well, when we got there I called my mom and had her rush over because they were having a great sale. We got a lot of stud between Beverly and my mom. I got my toasting glasses, the long rose like ones, my flower girl baskets, glasses for the best man and maid of honor, a couple of decorations, and lots of little neat details. Beverly got a lot of beautiful stuff for the rehearsal dinner. It is going to be the most beautiful rehearsal dinner I have ever seen. My next wedding steps, are well there a lot. First I would like to get a fitting and a final decision on bridesmaid dresses so that I can start matching things to them. Also, I want to discuss with Shelly's mother in law some designs she might be able to make for decorations and even flower girl dresses. I need to design the wedding and tables so that I know what I am looking for next time we shop. I also have my engagement photos coming up and we are going to the Indiana Museum of Art for the pictures. I need to decide what we are going to wear. And lastly for now, I want to start looking into cakes. We have a lot going on but I love it and I want to make sure I take in every moment ;) Hope every one has a fabulous week! I promise to update sooner next time!
