Already June

Let me start out by saying can you believe it is already June? And most importantly it is Britt's birthday month as well as my wedding month! Britt turns 21 on June 29 and as I am sure you can all guess, she is super excited. We are going to have a fabulous week planned for her. Thursday I went to the SATC 2 movie. I loved it! I thought it was a lot like the episodes and went back to the way the show used to be. There were some parts that made me sad (I am not gonna spoil them for you!) but all in all it was a great movie. And I loved the fashion. It was crazy, but I loved it. The pre-party Cassie, Jess, Jessie, Kandy, Arin, and I went to wasn't as crowded as we thought it would be but it was fun and the restaurant was chic. I had this cute all planned and was so excited about the shoes. They were sparkly just like Carrie's in the movie (only hers were designer). However, they did not work out well and Andy had to bring me down another pair at dinner. He is so sweet. Friday, I decided to get a family phone plan with Andy and we switched to AT&T. We got iPhones! I love mine. I am already completely obsessed and use it for everything. It is amazing. Saturday I went to my hair dresser's daughter's graduation party and Andy's cousin Raven's. They were both fun! After Andy, his mom, his sis, and I went to Margaritas for chips, cheese, and of course I had a margarita. Then Andy and I did some late night shopping for the cookout the next day at my parents. Sunday was the cookout and of course I was late. I had to get me, Marilyn, and the food ready! I made Italian pasta salad and Andy had gotten a watermelon and cut it up for the party. We are like so domestic now :) I was so excited for Marilyn to go to the party. I thought she would love running around outside with the other dogs and all the people. Boy was I wrong. It was so hot every time someone opened the door she ran in. I finally put her inside. When she was out she sat in someone's lap shaking the whole time because she was scared to death when people splashed. That night I went to see Sex and the City again with my mom, gma, sis, Krystan, Corie, Robin, Kim and Amanda, Robin's daughter in law. It was still great. My sister leaned over to Corie during some of the crazy clothing and said "if my sister could she would dress like that everyday." So true. I love their fashion. It is extreme but I would love to be that extreme. I just don't think Indiana can handle it. Monday was a day of relaxing, laundry, and catching up on stuff. Today I did not want to go back to work. And to top it off I was so busy and stressed. Then I came home and didn't get much accomplished except for getting my oil changed after putting it off for a couple months. oops. I am glad this is a short week and I plan to completely organize and get ready the Chicago trip because it will be here before I know it! Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day!
