Colors

So it has been a couple days since I have updated! The biggest thing I got done this week, and it wasn't much was picking my colors. After many votes I went with my favorite as well as the polled favorite. I chose hot pink, tangerine, and lemon as my colors. I think they are bright beautiful summer colors and will look great!! The next major think I am working on is getting an officiant for the wedding. I have picked up the forms, I just need to fill them out and turn them in with the deposit and the church will book a pastor. So I hope to get that done soon! I am getting a lot checked off. I think next week I will work on engagement photos and a newspaper announcement. Speaking of, at my work, some co-workers wrote up a article about my engagement and plan on sending it into a state newsletter. I was excited about that. This past weekend was busy again. Friday, Andy's family and I went to the Melting Pot for the first time. I had so much fun. We got the cheese, the meat, and the chocolate. We went all out and it was a different experience, but so good! Then Andy and I got caught up on Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. We love that show! Saturday I woke up and went to the Race for the Cure. I walked for my grandma and Andy's mom Judy. They survived this disease and I believe with the work we do so many more can fight it. After that I went to my cousin's fiancé's wedding shower. I love seeing the Holliday family and it seems like I have a lot lately. Helps me stay in tune with my grandpa. After that we went to a dress shop in Greenfield and looked at some wedding dresses. It was so fun but nerve racking. I don't know how I will ever find the one. Although I did find some cute flower girl dresses! Then, we went to a surprise birthday party my Aunt Marla threw for Kevin. It was IU themed. Very fun, and I asked Justin and Ben to be my wedding ushers, they both accepted :) After that I ended the night by going out for Kandy's birthday to Howl at the Moon. It was so much fun! Sunday I was very lazy. I watched a movie and did laundry until I went to my parents for dinner. Another busy weekend, and another coming up this weekend!
