been awhile

So Brittany got on me for not updating for a week. Sorry!!!! I have a lot of catching up to do I guess! Well last Thursday I turned in the forms and deposited needed at my church to request a pastor as my wedding officiant. I was excited about that, now I am just waiting to hear the details back about it. That night, I went to my women's small group at the church. One of the leaders, Carissa, had bought me a cake to celebrate my engagement and the whole group signed a card for me. It was so sweet. That night I went to dinner with my friends downtown to Champs. During firefighters week!!!! :) Friday I went to dinner at my parents. Saturday morning I went to my first massage. It was AMAZING! I think I am addicted! I also had a facial. It was pretty good too. After that my mom, my bridesmaid Amanda, Robin, her daughter Amanda, and I went to my wedding venue to see an actual wedding being put together. It was beautiful and got the wheels spinning in my head. The event coordinator there, Karla, is amazing! She seems like she is going to help make everything run smoothly. After that the five of us went to lunch at Olive Garden and spent three hours just chatting and eating. it was a blast. After that I just relaxed the rest of the weekend. I was tired! The week started smoothly. Unfortunately it seems my eye allergies have come back bad again so I was unable to wear contacts today. But I have an appointment tomm so hopefully we can get something done because I cant stand how itchy and tired my eyes are. And I cant stand not wearing contacts. My next wedding goal is to figure out a photographer. It might seem early but I want to get the engagement photos done so that we can post our engagement in the newspaper and we can get save - the-dates ready! Hopefully I can get a photographer by early next week. Oh and today was payday YAAAY!
