Eating Through the Alphabet

Hello!

Hope everyone had an amazing Halloween.  Ours was fabulous.  Jackson had so much fun trick or treating and he really enjoyed all the decorations.  Of course he was spoiled by his family as well with all kinds of treats.  It was a great night!

And now it's November! Can you believe it?!?! Thanksgiving will be here before we know it.  And then Christmas!!! AHHHHH!

I wanted to write today about this really cool tradition/project a group of my family and friends have been doing.  We call it Eating Through the Alphabet.  We; my sister, my mom, me, and our friends Robin and Amanda, love trying new restaurants.  So last year we decided to start Eating through the Alphabet.  What we do is we find a new place starting with the letter we are on and try it out! We are mostly doing central Indiana, but have even been to Muncie to try a new place.

We meet once a month and besides trying to get a place none of us have tried, the only rule is we don't go unless all of us can make it.  Which, is why there have been breaks with weddings and around the holidays.  Oh, and we get a photo at every place for documentation.  But this week we were on K, and we ate at a place called Kinsey's.

Kinsey's is located in McCordsville and is listed as an Italian cafe.  I think they are known for their Italian food, but they definitely had some other options.  I had boneless wings.  I just recently went to another Italian restaurant with family and the wings were on special so I decided to try them out!  They were delicious!!! I had Carolina Gold sauce on them which is a mix between honey mustard and BBQ.  I love the sweet and tangy and I figured I was trying a new place so why not try a new sauce.  OMG they were so yummy.  I got fries with it, which were also very good.  Everyone seemed to like their dinner, the service was great, it wasn't expensive.  We really enjoyed it.

Just thought I would fill you all in on our tradition and if you would like the list of all the places we've gone let me know!  It's a really fun time, a set date for dinner/catch up with friends, and neat to try new places!
