Hey. Let's Get a Tattoo!

Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a great week.  Another short week for me, so it's been nice!

Today I want to talk tattoos!  My mom is going to hate this post. :)  I currently have 3 tattoos.  A peace sign on my wrist, stars on my shoulder, and a fairy from Britney Spear's CD cover on on my lower back.

My Britney Spears fairy was done a few days before I was 18.  My dad had to come sign for me so I could get it done with my friends.  I cried when they shaved the area.  Definitely a wuss.  But I loved and still do love Britney Spears.  And the fairy was used on her album cover to sign her name, so it looks like a B which works for my name too!

My stars on my shoulder are from a Vegas trip with my friends.  Stars are my favorite, I chose 5 because its my favorite number and I even called Andy to see about what colors he liked for the stars.  I remember calling my mom to tell her and she said if I got one more, she wasn't paying for a wedding dress. hahahaha.

My peace sign was done one night with friends.  We had been talking about it and just went and did it.  The wrist definitely hurt the worst! and I have had it done in the same place twice because it needed to be redone.

I don't regret any of them because they all have great stories.  I do however, think of them a little different now that I have a son and have decided I don't want them all over like I once did.  Just personal preference.

BUT, on my 30th birthday, one of my best friends, said the words I had been hoping for.  She would get a best friend tattoo with me!  Krystan and I have been friends for ever so I am not at all worried about permanent ink and a non permanent friendship, however here we are a year later still trying to decide where and what we want..

We really think we want a tattoo on our finger.  It looks dainty and can be covered if need be.  But we can't decide what to put there!  Originally we wanted lipstick, we both are very obsessed.  But we can't find anything small enough to put on our fingers.  Maybe a word? We need the perfect one that will stand for our friendship.

We need help! I want to get them soon and I am so excited about bestie tattoos with my bestie!

Let me know if you have any suggestions on any of it! Besides my mom, because I know her suggestion will be "Don't do it!"
