Let's dive in to the first part of the December catch up. We are almost there. First up, the December Citrus Lane Box review.
Handprint Keepsake from Pearhead
I love a good keepsake project. This one was perfect for Christmas because you can display it year round or make it into an ornament like we did. It is no baking, no mess, and lots of fun!
Barnyards Animals Jumbo Knob Puzzle from Melissa & Doug
Melissa & Doug toys are great and this puzzle is a perfect example. This puzzle is perfect for little ones. It has oversized knobs, basic shapes, and a few pieces. It is so cute!
Cleo in the Snow from Barefoot Books
Jackson loves books! This one is perfect for him. It has rhyming words and makes it easy for little ones to follow along. The pictures are very colorful and great at keeping little ones' attentions.
Snuggly Lotion from Episencial
We haven't tried this lotion yet but it seems great! It's organic and helps with dry and chapped skin. It is also concentrated so a little goes a long way!
Another great box!!! I know I always say this but I LOVE getting these boxes! and Jackson is really starting to get into them.
Oh December! Such a busy, fun month full of family and Christmas activities. We had such a wonderful December and Christmas. We are truly blessed and enjoyed spending so much time with loved ones.
This is an ornament from my parents. My mom said she is getting Jackson one every year! I love it!
Of course I did A LOT of shopping in December, and yes most of it last minute. Jackson and I went shopping for all the kiddos one day. I don't care what Dave says, he loves to shop. Look at how much fun he is having!
My mom and sister took Jackson to get some Christmas photos done one day while I was at work. They said he did such a great job. I would hope so as much as we get his pictures done. Here are some of my favorites.
Andy of course loves the milk and cookies one. Jacksy, our little Santa Claus.
We went to see the Lights under Louisville one Friday night. My mom had bought the tickets last year and we almost went a couple different times and plans always changed. We finally made it and it didn't disappoint. It was so neat! It was like 20 minutes of Christmas lights through a cave. I highly recommend it. Jackson went, although he wouldn't know because he slept the whole time. At least he was awake to get this cute mirror picture when I had to change him in a McDonald's bathroom.
When I was working on Christmas cards I, of course, was going to use ones from Jackson's Christmas shoot but I was also hoping to get some ones with the dogs in front of our tree. The dogs are always a part of the card and a part of the family. However, the photo shoot didn't go well. We could never get the dogs and Jackson to look at the same time. So I scrapped them and decided to save them for the blog. The dogs names still made the card. Which caused confusion at my work making my coworkers think I had triplets. Here are a few with the dogs.
Well that's it for today. The next post will be all about Christmas week. Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow. Remember it's a short work week!
