Yard work!

Hello everyone!!!! Hope you all had a lovely Sunday.  We did! We finished up the rest of our much needed front yard project.  Here are some pictures.

When we moved in this area was full of weeds.  Finally last weekend, a year later, we planted some flowers.

Here's the front view.  This was our first time planting anything at our house.  It took awhile but it was definitely worth it.

This area is on the other side of the garage where a dead bush was.  So we decided to have it match the other area.

Dave helped me set up a surprise garden for Andy.  He always wanted to start one so we got it set up and he planted a few things last weekend.  Hopefully they grow nicely so we can have fresh veggies to puree into baby food for Jackson!

This weekend we worked on the area around the tree.  It looked awful with the bricks all over the place and random rocks and weeds.  Since we had extra flowers we decided to clean it up a little bit!

We also added solar lights down both sides of our driveway.  I just wanted to add a little light and I thought these would add to the front yard appearance.

We are pretty much done with the front yard for this year.  It looks so much better.  We also added a storm door this summer which I am pumped about!  It took forever to put it up but it looks so nice and now I can have the door open.   Which is nice for the doggies and Jackson when he can crawl.

I am pumped that I am keeping up with this posting everyday.  Day 2 down!  This week I want to get together some favorites posts.  Like my favorite pregnancy products and then one for each month of Jackson's life.  There have been so many products that have been lifesavers so I would like to get them together and post them for other moms.

My personal goals this week are to get back to journaling and get into some kind of schedule.  For the past 9 weeks I have basically held Jackson all day. And while that has been amazing I haven't gotten much done and I want to kind of get on a little schedule.  SO hopefully I can get on it this week.

Hope everyone has a great Monday and is ready to cheer for the Pacers!
