Hope everyone is having a great start to the week. I am! I am a little disappointed I forgot to blog yesterday but the whole point of this challenge was to blog more regularly so missing one day doesn't ruin everything I guess :)
Yesterday went by so fast! Jackson had his two month appointment. He weighs 13lbs 7oz and is 24 1/2 inches. Such a big boy! Doctor said everything was great and that he's already doing really well with holding his head up and control. He doesn't have to come back until August when he's four months and at that point she said we can discuss solids!!! I assume she means like introducing the rice and oatmeal cereals, so that's exciting! Yesterday Jackson also got three shot vaccines and one oral vaccine. I started tearing up during the shots. Poor baby was in so much pain! The rest of the day seemed like a blur. He was kind of fussy and whiny so I spent most of the day holding him and rocking him. Which I love, but makes it so not much other stuff gets done.
I started working on a vision/inspiration board last night. It was one of my New Years goals. Better late than never I guess! It's a board that visualizes all my goals or dreams. And that way, being able to see it will help inspire and motivate me to make them a reality. I will post a picture once I'm done. Hopefully by the weekend!
Today was Andy and I's second wedding anniversary. These two years have FLOWN! They have been an amazing couple of years. We own a house, have a beautiful baby boy, and I get to spend everyday with my best friend. It can't get much better. We had a low key celebration. Andy made steak for dinner and rented a movie, Identity Theft, we had both wanted to see. We said no presents because we got the best gift ever in April. And I've been blessed to stay home so long. But of course that didn't stop Andy from surprising me with a dozen red roses. He's so romantic. Oh and Britt sent us a gift card for some Dairy Queen. Such a nice treat :)
It was such a great day...well until I discovered at 10pm my dog chewed up my nipple shield. Breastfeeding has gone so well for Jackson and I. But we couldn't do it with out the nipple shield. So there was a little bit of drama and it looks like I have to go buy some more in the morning. That will teach me to have back ups!
I also finally put all my pictures on my digital picture frame I got for Mother's Day. I am so excited to have it set up and displayed in our living room. I love it.
Here are a couple pictures from the day:

And Jackson smiling big
I feel incredibly blessed.
Sweet dreams.
