Hello all!!!
Sorry it has been so long between posts! I have been so busy, which isn't an excuse because everyone is! But none the less its why I have been neglecting my blog. I really do feel better when I blog so I just need to work on some time management. Especially before Jackson comes! Which by the way, my due date is 22 days away!!!!
I am getting so antsy to meet Jackson!! It just kicked in too. Maybe because I realized he's finally done cooking :) so now let's get this show on the road. I am a planner, which I am sure you all know, and its killing me not knowing exactly when he will be here!!! Ughhhh. As of last week I am 1 cm dilated! Which I know could stay that way for awhile but it was nice to have some progress.
Let's see what has happened since my last post. I had my first baby shower! It was amazing and so much fun. We are so blessed to have so many friends and family come out to celebrate Jackson. He is definitely a spoiled little guy. This weekend I have my last shower. I am very excited about it. It's a family affair and is a fancy luncheon. Should be a blast :)
Last weekend we had our maternity photos done, a gift from Robin. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to see how they turn out. The photographer had some great props and Andy and I were dressed to impress!!! Afterwards we went to lunch with Robin and had a good time catching up with our second mom. :)
My grandma has been moved back to Kindred Rehab and as of this week seems to be doing a lot better. Some of her nausea has subsided and she has been eating better. Please continue to pray she is not in pain and is comfortable. Going back home for care definitely looks like a possibility now!! We are happy about that because that's where she wants to be.
Ok so I am going to post the week 34 and week 36 pictures in this post since I was a slacker and didn't get week 34 up and there isn't a week 35 because not much changed from that week to last.
Oh and since I am doing this on my iPad the pictures post after the text so I want to mention I am also adding my two favorite 3-D ultrasound pictures of Jackson. He is such a cutie if I do say so myself!
Week 36 Update: (even though tomorrow is week 37)
How Far Along: 36 weeks! And getting so antsy!
Total Weight Gained: well I had this weird 6 pound gain due to swelling/fluids but then lost about 5 in a week so I am interested to check my exact gain at the Dr this week but about 26lbs.
Maternity Clothes: oh yeah! Have you seen how round I am? Some of my regular shirts still work but mostly just the flowy ones. I love maternity clothes though. So comfy!
Stretch Marks: a few!
Sleep: a lot of tossing and turning and bathroom breaks. It's hard to get comfortable but I can still sleep with the best of them!
Best Moment This Week: again I will say since the last post. The best moment has probably been my shower and celebrating Jackson!
Miss Anything: well when I was swollen and had to do no salt for awhile (and I am still cutting) I really missed salt. You don't realize but salt is in EVERYTHING!
Movement: Constantly! He's such a mover. Which I love because I know he's there that way :)
Cravings: well I was really craving a shamrock shake which I didn't get because the McDonald's by me was sold out! Now just wanting Easter candy. But who doesn't :)
Gender: male
Labor Signs: lots of Braxton Hicks and lower back pain I feel like he's dropped. Wells think anyways. And I am dilated 1 cm!
Symptoms: pretty much matches my labor signs. Besides still going to the bathroom all the time. Some pain but nothing too horrible yet.
Wedding Ring On or Off: On! I don't want to take it off but with my recent swelling I might need to before I can't get it off.
Belly Button In or Out: really surprised that it's still in. Makes me wonder if it will pop out but trust me it looks like it could any second!
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: very happy. I am so excited about our little family starting!
Looking Forward To: our appointment Friday. Can't wait to see if I am anymore dilated! Fingers crossed!
Have a great rest of the week and here come the pictures!
