Gender Reveal

Hello all! Its been a little while since my last update...sorry! And I totally didn't get to a week 20 update and picture, which I really wanted since I was half way! Thanksgiving was great, especially with my grandma being able to come. After a long family filled day, the family went back to my parents and my sister, mom, and I started our yearly tradition of going through the Black Friday ads and planning out our shopping trip. We started at 5 AM, which was later than normal for us and our first stop was Babies R Us, a first for us. I got a great deal on a video baby monitor. Andy was super pumped. The rest of the day was full of shopping and eating. After a 12 hour shopping trip and one drop off at the house to make more room for bags, we went out to eat to celebrate Andy's birthday. Saturday was the Bricker Thanksgiving that was also a blast. Delicious food and great company :) The rest of the weekend was used for gender reveal party planning!! Not only was the next week the party it was also the week of appointments. Tuesday I had my mid-pregnancy ultrasound at IU Health. They did an echo of the baby's heart and an ultrasound. Both went great and everything was perfect. This appointment was finally when they could tell the gender, so we had to have the tech hide pictures for Britt to create the gender reveal for the party. Andy, my mom, and I didn't know the sex either way. Well that's how it was supposed to be until Andy cheated. So he and my sister knew before everyone else. The next day was the party!!! I woke up and had an early morning eye appointment. I had been up late getting things ready for the party so I was tired, but so excited for the day to be over. I raced home after work and got the party set up. Finally it was time for the big Gender Reveal. We had such a great turnout, great food and fun games. My sister had a sock monkey jack in the box (I love sock monkeys). She filled it with the gender color confetti and when we wound it up it all popped out for everyone to see! Here are some pictures:
This is the sign guests saw on our front door.

Is it a....Boy or Girl?
Baby Huth's first present from Grammy and Grandpa Bricker. I love sock monkeys.
Team Girl or Team Boy? The Maroskas are divided.
ITS A BOY!!! Jess and I celebrating. The party was a huge success and so much fun. AND we found out Baby Huth is a BOY! let the shopping and decorating begin. Thursday I had I dentist appointment. They were all thrilled about the pregnancy news. Unfortunately that night I also got in a minor fender bender. I was coming home from work on 465 in stop and go traffic and someone rear ended me. It was barely anything, just a couple scratches, but it scared me. After talking to my doctor she assured me it was probably fine but wanted me to come to the hospital. So after 4 hours of being admitted and tests everything was perfect! This baby has had more tests in 1 week than most people do in a year. The rest of the week/weekend was relaxing. Just shopping for Baby Boy Huth and getting Christmas decorations up. We are still working on all of that! Oh my grandma gets to come back home next week! SO EXCITING! Her rehab center says she is strong enough to come home and I know she is thrilled. Right in time for Christmas.
Also, one thing that has been passed down to me is a bassinet that has been in my family for 75 years. My grandma was the first baby in it and everyone since then has used it. It's such a precious family antique and now I get to use it. Oh one more thing! My work decorated my desk once they found out I was having a boy. It was so nice and exciting!
Ok time for the week 21 post:
How Far Along: 21 weeks Total Weight Gained: still haven't been back to my regular Doctor where they are weigh me. I go this week so right now still about 13 lbs. Maternity Clothes: I mix. Miss Anything: Right now, a vanilla diet coke. I can have a small one, and need one NOW. Movement: I feel him a lot inside. Now just trying to feel him outside so Andy can feel him. Food Cravings: nothing I can think of. Well apparently vanilla diet coke lol. Anything Make you Queasy or Sick: Nope! Gender: Male!!! Labor Signs: none Symptoms: Nothing really! Feeling good! Wedding Ring On or Off: On! Belly Button In or Out: surprisingly in still! Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Very very very happy. Especially now that I know the sex. Looking Forward to: Christmas shopping, baby shopping, and nursery decorating. Hope everyone has a great week!
