Christmas Decorations!

Hello! Hope everyone had a great weekend. We had a busy one. I wanted to get a lot of our Christmas decoration finished this past week and this weekend. There are a couple other things I want to get, but most decorations are up so I wanted to dedicate a post to our decorations! My Favorite area is our mantel area. We kept the same Christmas tree. Next year we are upgrading everything since it will be baby's first Christmas. I think I get this tree obsession from my mom. Right now I only have 4 trees total, 1 main ornament one. But, I would love to have different theme ornament trees and I plan on starting next year. Anyways, our mantel area has the tree, stockings and a Christmas fern basket.

I love our stockings. They show all our personalities well I think. Mine, colorful and noisy, Andy's Colts and then the paws for the doggies. I cant wait to get a stocking next year for the baby. Oh and my friend Jess got us our first baby ornament. I love it!

Our other tree in the house is on our balcony. It is a country tree we got from my aunt. We kept it with our country home sign and two Mr. and Mrs. holiday bears my mom gave us.

One of my favorite decorations is our little advent calendar. I am always counting down until Christmas!!

We have a lot of other great little items around the house. I really like this Santa my mom gave us from her collection. She had him forever and he is our first Santa.

Next outside. My parents gave us their old lights so we used colored ones this year. Andy doesn't have a very tall ladder so we tried to make it as festive as we could, getting it done asap so the lights were up for awhile before Christmas. I think they turned out great for our first time. You can also kind of see our two little trees by the front door. I got those this year and love them.

I want to get wreaths for each window facing the street. I think that would spruce up the outside a bit. I plan on working on those this week. I love our decorations. I cant wait to add to our collection and get more decorative and better each year, but I think for our first year in a home it all looks great!
