Rain Rain Go Away!

Hello everybody!!!! Hope everyone is good and you are all staying dry. I am staying dry, but the weather doesn't help my mood at all. It makes me very tired and unproductive. I really need to change that because there is sooooo much to do. I need to make a list of everything, but I am kind of nervous to see just how much there actually is left to do. Our basement looks like wedding central. Between all the decorations and things that are for the actual wedding, and all the shower gifts, there isn't much room left. I can't believe the numbers....45 days until the wedding and 18 days until we get our apartment! Very crazy how fast everything is sneaking up on us! Lots to do, and a budget to really stretch, but I am getting very excited. This is a day every girl and family dreams about and I just know it is going to be perfect. Yes, we have had a couple glitches in some of the wedding plans and I think that is to be expected especially when we are doing so much on our own. But I wouldn't change a second of any wedding plans since April 1st 2010. Best experience ever and I try to remind myself to live it up every time I start to feel stressed. Anyways! This past weekend was really fun!!! Friday Andy and I went to see Scream 4. I loved it!!! Those are my favorite scary movies anyways, but this one was really good! It made fun of itself some and it kept you guessing. I really enjoyed it! Saturday morning I walked in the Race for the Cure. It was my third year and as usual it was amazing. They kept saying it was supposed to rain, but it held out and there was a wonderful turnout as usual. It is truly amazing to look back and see all the people that are walking or running in support of finding a cure. I walk for the celebration of my grandma and friend Beth who is going through chemo right now and in memory of Jessica's grandma. I will be a part of this walk every year until they find a cure or I can't walk anymore :) After the race, Mallow Run winery was having a Pink party. My mom, Dave, Kim and I all went. It was really fun! They had live music, pink snacks and their pink wine was on sale. They had a drink available called the wine-rita. We tried it and loved it and decided it will be the signature drink served during cocktail hour at the wedding. Now we just have to think of a clever name for it! Saturday night I went to dinner with my friends at the Old Spaghetti Factory for Kandy's birthday. Then we went to Bartinis. I didn't stay long because I had to get up early, but it was a lot of fun celebrating with everyone and the food was fab! OH! I tried spumoni ice cream. So good! And I just realized I can check it as one of the "try 5 new foods" on my 101 in 1001 days list! Sunday was the Vera Bradley sale. We had to leave our house at 5am! It was worth it though! Such a fun day with mom, Robin and Vera :) We were their the last day and so they mark things down even more. It was crazy!!! Tons of Vera and tons of product. I got a tote bag, a wallet, lanyard, apron set( for all my cooking) and then travel stuff, like a curling iron cover, jewelry case, and makeup bag. Great day! I can't wait to go next year! Sunday the boys got their tuxes ordered. Apparently they had a little too much fun doing it. I decided to be nice and let them wear chuck taylor shoes. They were begging for them. We will see how they turn out! This week I have been working on wedding stuff. I swear if anyone needs a wedding coordinator or a Martha Stewart, call my mom. She is working on stuff every night and anything I say I want she tries making and it usually turns out beautiful. She is too talented!! I am so lucky :) This weekend is a little more calm compared to the way they have been and will be. It is Easter so I will go to my Bricker grandparents. And game night with Andy's family Saturday but that's about it!! I think that means I need to get a lot of wedding stuff done. I talked to Cassie's dad, he is my officiant and we are meeting next week so I am very excited about that! Andy and I are going to go looking for his ring this weekend. And my TOMS for the reception should come in today!!! I have been ordering lots of gifts and stuff. Oh and I love getting RSVP cards everyday. Its so fun!!! As for my 101 in 1001 days I have been slacking. I need to get on it! I have done some things like sending cards and getting a collection but that's also like a revolving thing. I also have worked on my hard drive. Again a revolving thing. I have read some books! I wish I was reading more. I need to really focus on that list because it all seems so much fun! I have just been super busy. Hope everyone has a good week!!

Oh and the pictures... One is of me with my bouquet of bows Jessica made at my first shower. You use it as your practice bouquet at the rehearsal.

One is of my nephew DJ after his bath.

One is of my besties out for Kandy's birthday.

One is of Andy and I out for Kand'ys birthday.

One is a picture of the flower girl dresses. They were all ivory. My mom sewed on the flowers and sashes.

And one is of part of boob squad at the race for the cure
