Ok so I am updating again! Trying to stay on top of it! and we just had a weekend so I should have a decent amount of things to say :) Let's see. Friday, Andy and I babysat the Massey Clan. We had a lot of fun! Andy has never watched children before so he was in for a treat. Shelly had made this great dinner for us and when they left for their dinner we sat down to eat. Allie wasn't hungry and Lauren was napping so it was just Kaitlyn, Andy and I. Andy goes, "this isn't so bad." I told him to just wait and sure enough as I am cleaning up dinner the younger two are running in circles, screaming, trying to hide from the monster (Andy). We had so much fun playing with them and they say some pretty funny things. Kaitlyn loves to talk on the phone and when someone called me Lauren goes is it your friend? Do you have friends? hahaha. And they called Andy Mandy. We ended the night with some wonderful singing and dancing performances. It was a great time! Saturday Beverly had planned a surprise 50th birthday party for Andy's dad and from what I heard he had no idea. So we went down there, running late of course so we had to run through yards to get there before the birthday boy. He got there and was so surprised! It was a good time and there was a great turn out! Beverly was so excited about the wedding and had taped a bunch of wedding shows. So her and I watched some while Andy's dad talked wedding jewelry. I am so excited to have him make some beautiful pieces. It will be such a personal touch on the day. After that Andy and I headed to my Aunt Marla's to have a cookout for Mother's Day. We played card games and got to catch up with the fam. I miss the boys all the time and we are all so busy but somehow it worked out and every one of us was there. Sunday I slept in for the first time in a LONG time. It felt good but I think I need like 5 more days like that. Then Marilyn and I went to my parents house for a Mother's Day celebration. It was a lot of fun. We had a kennel with all the dogs there! My mom loved her gifts! She deserved them she is the best mom ever! When I left, Casper cried for me. I'm his favorite :) When I got home Jess came over. I am so excited she has moved home!!! We watched Desperate Housewives and caught up and planned our workout we are starting. We are joining the Community Center and starting two classes. I can't wait I need to get in shape. I am ready to be back to the way I used to be and to feel better! Monday I went to my parents house to eat dinner with my mom, sister, and gma. The night started with some good news! My gma went to the doctor and they didn't find anything on her scans! So it is not like we had originally thought with cancer everywhere. It is obviously still somewhere because she has a lump and she has stomach issues, but that is better news! He didn't even want to start treatment yet like he had planned, since he doesn't know where to treat. We were happy about that! My sister had some funny news. She started her internship at Fox yesterday. She is not on air she will be helping more behind the scenes. Well my mom gets a text saying turn to fox 59 and when she does there is Brittany on tv in a wedding dress. Apparently they were doing a wedding special and one of the models didn't fit into the dress right so on Britt's first day, 20 minutes into it, she is modeling a wedding dress on tv. How funny! Well I am making myself get wedding organized tonight. It is ridiculous that I don't have any wedding updates and I promise I will by my next post!
