Favorite Lipsticks!

Hope everyone is having an amazing short week.  I love it but I will be honest, it has thrown me off a bit.  Every day I am thinking it's different with a different to do list and I am just a bit of a hot mess this week.  BUT I will take a short week any time!

Speaking of being a hot mess, one thing that I think always helps when I am feeling blah, is LIPSTICK!!!  Lipstick is one of my favorite things.  I love all make up, but to me, lipstick can improve any look.  So, I have decided to list some of my favorites in each important category: Cheap, Matte, Gloss, Creamy, Long Lasting, and Go To.  Whew it was hard to narrow it down!

CHEAP:

I buy lipsticks of all colors, types, and prices.  But one of my favorites, especially when you are looking for a deal, is NYX matte lipstick.  It is about $6 bucks and it is at almost every drugstore.  I found this through a celebrity makeup vlog my mom was part of.  I figured if it was good enough for one of the ladies on the Bachelor, it was good enough to try.  It is matte, which is all the rage lately, but with that said it still feels really smooth.  You might think because of the price it wouldn't last long. but that's not true! It doesn't last all day but it does last a long time! It's a great lipstick!

MATTE:

Speaking of matte lipsticks, my favorite matte lipsticks are Kylie Jenner Lip Kits.  I know, I know, but hear me out!  All of the colors that I have bought or have seen on are GORGEOUS!  Seriously, every color on lots of different people look fantastic. Also, the color lasts a long time.  Like a whole work day. The kit comes with lipstick and liner, which is nice!  My only complaint would be that my lips tend to be more dry after wearing lip kits.  But I just exfoliate often, put on lip balm at bed time, and I am good to go!  Everyone should own a lip kit!

GLOSS:

The 3 peach gloss colors I have. 

I love gloss. I like the look and I like how it spruces up a simple look or casual day.  My favorite gloss is Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss.  Its a mouth full but they are BEAUTIFUL.  The colors are very vibrant and the oil in the gloss makes your lips feel great. The best part is it doesn't leave your lips sticky like most glosses.  And it smells good!  I have 3 and I love all of them!

CREAMY:

Bite color is Sour Cherry.

Have you tried Bite lipsticks?!?! OMGEEEEE.  If you haven't you are missing out!  One of my best friend's Krystan bought me a tube for my birthday last year, and I immediately fell in love.  It is so creamy.  It feels amazing!!!  And the colors are amazing, very pigmented.  Also , these stay on a long time as well.   I need more of these lipsticks in my life!

LONG LASTING:

Ok so have you heard of Lipsense?  I know it's all over Facebook and you might be skeptical, but it is FANTASTIC.  I recently tried it and people are not kidding when they tell you it lasts.  It lasts ALL day.  Plus there are a lot of fun beautiful colors and some come out at certain times or get retired and come back later, which keeps you watching and wanting more.  They have so many colors, and then there are glosses that you can use to change up the color.  The options are endless.  I am quickly becoming obsessed.

My Go To lipstick......not necessarily favorite (because I don't think I could name just one) but the one I am always grabbing for when I am in a hurry, or need a little color and just want to be comfortable, is ColourPop Lippie Stix.  There are LOTS and LOTS of colors to choose from.  It is very soft and doesn't make your lips feel heavy.  It goes on easy and is pretty cheap.  I love it!

AHHHH I love lipstick.  I could keep going on about it, but I will give you all a break.  :)  Please give me any lipstick suggestions.  I love trying new ones!
