Hope everyone had an AMAZING weekend. Mine was great -very busy. On Saturday I celebrated one of my best friends and her upcoming nuptials at her bachelorette party. Last fling before the ring right? :) We had such a great time. Good food, drinks, and friends made for a perfect evening celebrating Kandy.
Best Friends
We got to talking in the hotel, when we were in bed at midnight, how bachelorette parties have changed for us over the years. Mine, was drastically different, even just 5 years ago when we were 24/25.
First the hotel. At my hotel the goal was to get as many people in a room as we could, to save money because we were just going to sleep there. Or I should say, pass out there. At Kandy's, it was more about quality. Not that mine was a roach motel, it was nice. But this past weekend we stayed at the JW Mariott. One of the nicest downtown. And besides the actual party, most of us were excited about sleeping in the hotel bed.
Beautiful view from JW excutive's lounge.
Food. At mine, we ordered yummy pizza and ate in the room. We did not want to waste time going out because we had to get dressed in our best and get out to a night of partying. This weekend we ate yummy PF Changs. And again, we we were all looking forward to the good meal and knew eating would help make sure we didn't get sick later.

Drinks. At mine, we went out early and came home late. We bar hopped all over 4th street and had different games and stops a long the way. It was wild. Wild fun! This past weekend after dinner we went over to Tastings for wine. Very classy. It was a lot of fun to try different wines. We had a table and just sipped and chatted until most of us went home around midnight.

Isn't it crazy how things change over 5 years? I am not listing this to compare parties. Both were a lot of fun. We just thought it was hilarious how different things were.
I will also say, if you haven't been to the JW for breakfast, GO. RUN! They have the most amazing breakfast buffet. Like seriously. Best I've ever had! Waffles are to die for. Go. You will thank me.
