2013!! The year Jackson Paul Huth is born!!

Hello everyone!!! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! We sure did. And we have been VERY busy, which is the excuse I am using for not posting anything in 3 weeks :) Don't worry I plan on updating a lot this week between a post about Christmas presents, baby updates, and New Year's resolutions. We had a great week of Christmas events. It started Sunday the 23rd with a family get together at my great aunt Donna's and my grandma's side of the family. We always have good food, company, and even some caroling. This year did not disappoint. I used the night to get as much information on childbirth and newborn care from my cousins as I could. I learned a lot! Monday I had taken off work and Andy had a half day. While he worked I finished up some wrapping and getting presents together. Then we had a get together with my cousins and family at Justin and Elizabeth's. And Katie's. We had so much fun watching old home videos my grandpa had made. We also got some very very very very times infinity great news. Justin and Elizabeth are expecting their second child!!! The way they told us was so cute. They had taken a picture of Katie with a big sister shirt on next to a sign saying "Family of Four arriving July 2013." Of course we all screamed, scaring Katie. lol it was so exciting! Then Andy and I moved onto his grandma's for his family's Christmas. She always has delicious prime rib!! We had a lot of fun and DJ entertained us all with a sweeper he got. He never put it down! After that we finished the night with a late night church service at The Vineyard. It was such a great message that really reminded us what Christmas is all about. Tuesday was of course Christmas. We started at Judy's for Christmas with Andy's mom and sister. It was great being part of Jordan's first Christmas. Next year we will have 3 little ones there!! I can't wait! We got a lot of baby and nursery items which made us very excited! After, we headed to my parents for our all day Christmas extravaganza. We always start with a big, wonderful, fancy breakfast my mom makes. Then we opened presents all day and hung out with the family! It was amazing. We got so many wonderful things. Jackson even had some presents! It was a perfect day! Wednesday Andy and I were both supposed to go back to work, but because of the snow Andy's office closed. He decided to drive me to work since we hadn't closed. We got all the way to Carmel and Andy decided to stay around in case they called off. Good thing he did. We were there a half hour and they decided to close the office. Glad they did when they did. The roads were AWFUL on the way home. Once we made it home safely we decided to use the day cleaning up and putting away all of our gifts. On Thursday Dave asked us all if we wanted to go downtown for dinner and drinks and to see the tree before they took it down. Well later he text us that he had reservations at Ruth Chris. It was so much fun! Ruth Chris is by far my favorite steak place. We had a blast dressing up and eating deliciously. It was such a great Christmas dinner surprise with our family. Friday was another girl's night at my mom's house. It was a scarf exchange this time and we had so much fun! I can't wait until the next one! Saturday we had Christmas at our house with Andy's dad and Beverly. We made a delicious pot roast if I do say so myself, exchanged presents and rented a movie. It was so much fun and they spoiled us and Jackson, once again. Sunday was Christmas with the Brickers. Our last Christmas event of 2012. It was great just like all the rest of our events. Bud made some really cool little vehicles for Jackson's nursery. We decided Jackson is spoiled. It was a perfect end to the Christmas week. For New Year's Eve, Brittany's friend Jamie, well really our friend too :) was in town and her, Britt, Andy and I went to dinner at a mexican restaurant. Then we went back to my parents house like we usually do to ring in the New Year. Can I just say Welch's sparkling grape is delicious?!?!? I used it for my 2013 toast and actually loved it. We had today off work so we ran some errands and relaxed. It was a great relaxing day. OMG best news and Christmas present ever. My grandma went to the doctor this week and found out she is doing great. So great in fact, the cancer isn't active and she is in remission!!! She also doesn't need oxygen anymore. We have never heard the word remission with her disease. We are so happy and truly blessed. Thank you everyone for the prayers. We had such a great 2012. Both of us got new jobs, we got a new house, my grandma is doing so much better after a rough patch, and we are pregnant. Truly cannot wait to see what 2013 will bring. At least we know, 2013 is the year Jackson Paul Huth is born. Speaking of, I know I have been awful with the pregnancy weekly updates. But, I do have one for you now!! Week 25 update:

How Far Along: 25 weeks Total Weight Gained: Well I haven't been back to the doctor since my last weigh in, I go next week, so right now still 15lbs. But, I am guessing after the holidays that number has probably increased a bit. Maternity Clothes: Still mixing but mostly maternity clothes. Especially with the new stuff I got for Christmas. They are just so comfy! Stretch Marks: Still none, BUT let me be clear. I had gained some weight in college and got stretch marks then. Right before I got pregnant I lost about 20lbs. So far all I have gained back is what I lost so no stretch marks yet. I'm not wonder woman though I do get stretch marks! Sleep: A little more restless with my stomach getting bigger. But I still sleep plenty! Best Moment this Week: I am going to do best moment since my last update, which was Andy being able to feel Jackson kick! He was so excited. Miss Anything: actually not missing anything lately! Movement: ALL THE TIME! He is so active! Food Cravings: still need a peppermint milkshake. And some puppy chow. Anything Make you Queasy or Sick: Nope! Gender: Male Labor Signs: none Symptoms: Some are coming back. Nothing horrible, but back pain, having to go to the bathroom frequently, sleepiness. Wedding Ring On or Off: On Belly Button In or Out: Somehow still in Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy! I love being pregnant! Looking Forward to: Painting the nursery and getting it decorated!! I am going to look at paint colors tomorrow. Have a great week!!
