Nice Break From Work

Hello! Hope everyone is staying warm. It is starting to get cold this week. I guess we got as much warm weather in the fall as we could. I have been staying busy. Last week I only worked Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so I got a nice long weekend but I also worked my butt off those three days. I wanted to get everything caught up and then some so that I wouldn't come back to a huge pile of stuff. Wednesday Marilyn had her annual shot appointment. She did great she was just really tired after. And when we got her blood work back everything was good! Great news. Other good news we got was my Gma had her best doctor's appointment yet. Her blood counts are in the range they should be and her medicine is working. Praise the Lord. After Marilyn's appointment Andy and I went with my gma to pick up Gray's for dinner and had it waiting for my mom when she got home. Thursday we had the day off from work for Veteran's Day. I was lazy, went to a doctor's appointment, and then was lazy again. I of course said thank you to my favorite Veteran Ashley Stainbrook. She recently got to come home from Iraq. I am so happy and so proud of her. Friday Andy and I went to CVS loaded up on snacks for a movie and went and picked up his sis around noon. Then we grabbed lunch and we took her to her doctor's appointment and got to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was so exciting!!! And the doctor told her she can have another ultrasound. So hopefully, wednesday we will get to know the sex of the baby. After the appointment we went to see Takers. It was really good. Saturday I went to see the Mid-State Cheerleading Competition. My mom has been working with the cheerleaders so much and it looks like it paid off. They did great! And placed 2nd! After the contest I went to lunch at Culvers with some people from the competition. Later Andy and I went and did our first registry!!! It was at Target. It was a little overwhelming but a lot of fun! We have to clean it up a bit there and do two more. Saturday night I got Andy his birthday present, the new Kinect. He loves it. Sunday I went to church and watched the Colts. I tried to start off the week getting lots done. So today, I made two flower appointments and some phone calls about schooling questions I have about schooling. I am working on bringing my lunch from now on and making eating out a special occasion. I was spending too much a week on lunch. I am also working on Christmas lists and getting presents bought. For the wedding this week I plan on getting my flower ideas together for my first meeting this weekend. I also want to contact the church about a couple things and look into what is needed for our license. Soon I need to start working on the save the dates. Hope everyone has a good start to the week.
