Hello! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well as a nice little break. I sure did! It was so great getting to spend time with my family. Every day in November I have been tweeting (I love twitter) about something I am thankful for that day. And I have always been so grateful for my life and everything in it, but this exercise has made me realize I am truly so blessed. It has really helped me work on not taking things for granted. I am so thankful for everything I have and everything that is to come. God is definitely working his magic in my life. I hope all of you have tons to be thankful for as well. Let's see, last week. Tuesday I went to dinner with some of my friends. It was a lot of fun and I was so glad I got to catch up with Sarah and Ashley. I had really missed them! I was so happy because Brittany made it home Tuesday in time to go with us to dinner. I love when she is home. Wednesday was my last work day for the week. That night my immediate family came over to hang out. With my cousin Justin's new firefighting job he wasn't going to be able to make it to Thanksgiving but still wanted to get together. I had so much fun and we got the best surprise ever! When my sister got home from her hair appointment Justin brought in some pictures my grandma had wanted printed. As she is going through them to make sure they are all there she goes "oh there is an ultrasound" and moved on. I guess Brittany caught on because she started screaming and then we all went nuts. Justin and Elizabeth are pregnant!!!! I am so excited. Since there are only four grandchildren we are so close and I couldn't be any happier about a new addition to our group. I can't wait to start getting things for the baby. She is nine weeks a long so I will update as much as possible!!! All I can say is with those two parents, that baby will be gorgeous :) Thursday was Thanksgiving obviously so I started off the morning like I usually do, watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. It's my favorite! Around noon we went to my cousin Shelly's for a big family dinner. The food there is always so good! And my little cousins are adorable. Right when we walked in they all handed us cards they made. Too cute. Even their mom Shelly handed the women little thankful cards. Their family is so creative. My goal is to be even half as creative and Martha Stewart like as them. After we ate Andy and I went to see his dad and Beverly. They had hosted a Thanksgiving this year and even though we were late we wanted to take part. I made my mom's corn casserole. I don't think it was as good as hers but it was my first attempt. Later that night we played kinect at my house with my fam. Then our Thanksgiving tradition, we went through the ads and planned our shopping. I tried to start at 10pm at Toys R Us to get something for my friend's son's birthday. Yeah right. The line was crazy! I turned around and went home. We did go out at midnight to the mall. It was fun we got a couple things for ourselves and picked out some things for Christmas from our mom. We went to a couple other places but our next big place was Kohls where I stood in line as my mom and sister shopped. Around 6 we got McDonalds breakfast and went home for a nap. Later that day we met my gma, Dave, and the Stainbrooks for lunch. That night I went to see Love and Other Drugs with Jessie and Krystan. It was really good. Now, of course, I want to read the book it is based off of. Saturday Andy and I got ALOT of our Christmas shopping done. We are about half way there. Then, we had Thanksgiving at our house with Dave's family. It was wonderful. My parents did most of the cooking and it seemed like they made all my favorites. I had a blast. After dinner Britt, Calvin, Andy and I ran some errands and got some more shopping done. Saturday my grandma and I went shopping and to lunch with my mom. Sadly, my sister went back to school. Good news is she will be home again in like 3 weeks. That evening I just caught up on some stuff and got ready for the week. And watched the Colts get killed :( This week we go back to full work weeks. But I am sure time until Christmas will fly especially since I have so much to do! I didn't get anything wedding accomplished, but I do have my flower appointments this Saturday and my mom said over Christmas break when my sister is home we need to do a lot of planning. Last night, Andy and I did map out our next 6 months with wedding, honeymoon, apartment, and saving plans. I promise to get more accomplished this week. I woke up early today, well when the alarm went off, so I think that is a good start to the week. And last night I made Christmas cds. This morning I listened to Glee Christmas on the way to work. Christmas stuff puts me in a great mood! And now I can officially move to Christmas celebrating since Thanksgiving is over. Hope everyone has a great week! I will leave you with two pictures. One of Marilyn in our snuggly blanket from Bath and Body Works and one of Ashley's son Chase. He is my little buddy :)
